For ESPN’s opening of the PanAm Games—a multi-sport event celebrating athletes from across North, Central, and South America—I created 3D modeling and animation that captured the spirit of unity through diversity. Growing up watching ESPN before and after school, this project was a full-circle moment—bringing my passion for sports and design together on a global stage. I modeled stylized representations of Toronto’s most iconic structures, then devised a parametric system to animate vibrant waves of paint flowing across each form.—symbolizing the cultural richness and energy of the Americas converging in one place. All animation and modeling were done in Cinema 4D, with compositing and finishing in After Effects. A celebration in motion, crafted with precision and heart.
